A woman aged 28 in his hospital, where she remains for treatment of life-changing injuries after being hit by car in Stockport last night.
The driver, a man aged 20, remained at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
The incident happened around 9.30 on London Road in Hazel Grove close to the junction with Queen’s Road.
Constable John Harrison-Gough of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “A young woman remains in hospital with life-changing injuries. Are thoughts are with her as she continues her recovery.
“Were you in the area at the time of the collision or did you see the Astra prior to the incident?
“We are confident there will be people with information or dashcam footage that can assist our investigation.
“Please get in touch as soon as possible if you can help.”
