The twenty seven year old man remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car while crossing the road in Levenshulme yesterday.
He was hit by a black VW Golf while crossing the road on Stockport Road – close to the junction of Cromwell Grove around 6.30pm.
A 26-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and has since been released from police custody under investigation.
