A 47-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries and an 8-year-old girl was taken to hospital with minor injuries after a head on smash in Hyde this morning.
An Audi A3 and Vauxhall Astra were involved in the collision on Matley Lane
PC Karl Horner, of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This incident sadly resulted in a man and child being injured. Our thoughts are with their families at this time.
“An investigation is underway and I would like to use this opportunity to appeal to anyone with information or dash cam footage from the area at the time of the incident or shortly before to get in touch.”
