A man will appear in court today charged in connection with the disorder in Newton Heath on Wednesday night when a crowd gathered outside a hotel on Oldham Road
Twenty five year old Joshua Stokes of Ten Acres Lane, Manchester, has been charged with violent disorder and attempted ABH of a police officer.
He was remanded into custody to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today
