Budget airline Ryanair will be flying from Manchester to Frankfurt six times a week as part of its extended UK winter 2017 schedule it has announced today.

The airline will also be running daily flights from Stansted.

Ryanair’s Head of Communications Robin Kiely said:

“We are pleased to announce 2 new winter routes to Frankfurt am Main from London Stansted and Manchester starting this October as part of our growing UK winter 2017 schedule. These new routes, which will go on sale on the Ryanair.com website this week, will be ideal for both business and leisure customers, as we connect London and Manchester with one of Europe’s key cities.

Ryanair customers can choose from 124 London Stansted routes next winter, including 3 other new routes to Aalborg, Oradea and Pardubice, while our full Manchester winter 2017 schedule will be unveiled shortly. UK customers and visitors can look forward to even lower fares when they make advance bookings for their summer or winter holidays, so there’s never been a better time to book a low fare flight with Ryanair.

To celebrate our new Frankfurt routes, we are releasing seats for sale across our European network from just £9.99 for travel in March and April, which are available for booking until midnight Thursday (2 Mar). Since these amazing low fares will be snapped up quickly, customers should log onto www.ryanair.com and avoid missing out.”

Manchester Airport CEO, Ken O’Toole said:

“It is pleasing to see Ryanair continue to expand their route network at Manchester. Frankfurt is popular with leisure passengers and a key business market for the North. That is why it is hugely positive to be able to offer passengers more choice in terms of how they access the destination from Manchester Airport.”
