An 18-year-old man has been on suspicion of attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder after a shooting in Urmston on Friday evening
The incident has left his 21-year-old victim being treated in hospital, where he remains in a stable but critical condition.
Detective Chief Inspector Justin Bryant from our Trafford district said: “Our officers carried out a number of warrants this morning and have managed to secure the arrest of an 18-year-old on suspicion of attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
“We will not accept this level of violence on our streets, we have been doing significant work to identify and arrest anyone who we believe is involved in this incident, and we will not stop until we have explored every possible avenue to ascertain why this happened and arrest those responsible.
