A seventeen year old boy is in hospital where he is undergoing surgery for serious injuries after he was hit by a car while riding his motorcycle in Shaw yesterday afternoon.
The 48 year old driver of grey Honda CRV was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drugs and has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
The accident happened around 8.40pm on Salts Street, at the junction of Glebe Street and police are appealing for witnesses.
The Motorcyclist lost control of the bike and further collided with a garden wall.
