This May Worsley Sports Club, Salford, will celebrate the opening of Padel16.
Four brand new premium padel courts designed to enhance the club’s facilities and inject new energy into its community around Worsley.
Padel, one of the fastest growing sports in the world, will be the cornerstone of a new era for Worsley Sports Club. The launch of Padel16 marks the first phase of a larger project aimed at breathing new life back into the club.
Owned by professional footballer Fabio Borini, working alongside local businessman Anthony Bingham, Padel 16’s mission is to restore and transform local sports clubs, offering communities a refreshed space to connect, compete and socialise.
Fabio Borini stated “Padel16” is about much more than just offering a fun, fast paced sport, it’s about giving back to the community and rebuilding the club for the future.
This approach ensures sustained development, enhances community engagement, and supports continuous improvements to the facilities. As part of the transformation, future phases will see the introduction of a barista coffee station, followed by unique dining experiences for club members and visitors.
Unlike conventional models, the revenue generated from the padel court will be reinvested into the club. By putting the money back into the club, we’re not only creating a new space for the community to enjoy, we’re also laying the foundation for its future.
This is just the start – we have big plans to expand, evolve and build an exciting hub for everyone in the area.
