A suspected gas explosion at a house in Bury has left one person a woman in her 70’s badly injured and surrounding residents and a pupils at St Luke’s Primary School have been evacuated from the area.
The explosion happened on Nelson Street in Fishpool,and is the fire service are asking residents to keep windows and doors closed due to the amount of smoke.
A 200 metre cordon has been put in place around the incident
The fire service has added Multiple crews are currently at the scene of an incident on Nelson Street, Bury, working alongside other emergency services.
