Wongs Jewellers, the family-run jeweller known for its craftsmanship, heartfelt service, and timeless design, is set to open its doors at Manchester Arndale after securing a prime unit within the shopping centre.

The new store will occupy a 1,935 sq ft space after signing a 10-year lease, bringing its unique customer experience and luxury collections to the centre’s diverse retail line-up.

Founded in 1979, Wongs Jewellers has built a loyal following for its high-quality pieces, including engagement rings and bespoke jewellery. The family-run business is known not only for its exceptional craftsmanship but also for creating an unforgettable customer experience—currently known as where Liverpool gets engaged, and soon to become where Manchester gets engaged.

The new Manchester Arndale location will bring that signature Wongs touch to the city, offering an immersive in-store experience featuring a jewellery bar, photo booth, and an open workshop where customers can see directly through to the talented goldsmiths at work. From the moment customers walk in, they’ll enjoy a warm welcome and personalised service that has earned Wongs Jewellers countless five-star reviews and a trusted reputation for excellence, and a loyal customer base who value the special moments Wongs helps create.

Cynthia Cartwright, Commercial Director at Wongs Jewellers, said:

“This new store is such a special milestone for us. We’ve poured so much love into creating an experience that feels truly unique—somewhere people can come to mark life’s biggest moments and feel completely looked after. We’re proud of the five-star reputation we’ve built in Liverpool, and we’re so excited to now bring that Wongs magic to Manchester.”

Peter Wong, Managing Director at Wongs Jewellers, added:

“This is such a proud moment for our family. After so many years building the Wongs name in Liverpool, it’s incredibly exciting to be expanding into Manchester. This store is the next chapter in our story, and we can’t wait to share everything we love about Wongs with a whole new community. It means the world to us to be part of so many people’s most important moments.”

The arrival of Wongs Jewellers sees it become the latest premium retailer to move to Manchester Arndale after the centre welcomed 23 new tenants during 2024. The centre is now home to established brands such as Zara, Next, B&M, Go Outdoors, and Sports Direct, through to growing favourites such as BPerfect, PureSeoul, Represent and Trailberg, with the latter two selecting Manchester Arndale as their first physical retail space.
