The strongest winds say the Met Office are expected around early- to mid-afternoon as a squall-line moves through with 50-60mph isolated gusts possible in places
It covers all of Greater Manchester and most of northern England – including Lancashire, Merseyside and parts of Cheshire. Yorkshire, the North East, Cumbria, North Wales, southern Scotland and eastern Scotland
