Manchester United youngster Shea Lacet has apologized to his teammates and fans after being sent off in the closing minutes of the FA Cup tie against Brighton yesterday

The eighteen year old Lacey who was brought on as a second half substitute was shown a second yellow card after throwing the ball down in disgust after a decision went against him in the closing minutes just two minutes after being shown a first yellow for a foul on Yasin Ayari.

I want to apologise to all of my teammates staff and the fans. I let everybody down tonight I shouldn’t let my emotions get the better of me I will do everything I can to make this right

Interim Manager however said And the first Shea Lacey foul, it was NOT a yellow. It’s ridiculous. Poor refereeing.”

However Simon Hooper was right to show the red card for the teenager’s display of dissent according to former referee Keith Hackett,
