Yesterday Manchester United released a
statement in which the club said
“Marcus has taken responsibility for his actions.
This has been dealt with as an internal disciplinary matter, which is now closed.”
He’ll return to training tomorrow and available for selection on Thursday
According to the Sun, Rashford is facing a £650,000 fine, equivalent to two weeks’ wages, for calling in sick to training, despite being seen at a nightclub in the early hours of that day.
Reports yesterday claim that coaching staff are concerned that Marcus Rashford’s lifestyle is having a negative impact on his performances on the pitch. Sources close to him say he is in ‘complete self destruct mode’ and fear his inner circle has too much influence.
