Two men have been charged after police officers responded to reports of a double stabbing in Shudehill yesterday
Ashaun Townsend aged 30 of Woodstock Road, Moston, has been charged with section 18 assault and attempted section 18 assault.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Tameside magistrates court today.
Najee Ross aged 26 of Church Lane, Manchester, has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
He was bailed to appear at court on 12 January 2024.
A 21-year-old who was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon has been released on bail.
