Tributes have been made for Dale Harris the Commercial Manager at non League Chadderton FC who suddenly passed away on Monday 12 January 2026 at The Royal Oldham Hospital.
In a statement the club said
“Our thoughts at this time are with his wife, children and all his family.
Dale joined our management team last year and made a huge impact in developing our Club with numerous projects he undertook to take this Club forward to new levels
It is a huge loss to our Club and he will be sadly missed by us all.”
Dale began his football career starting as a as matchday volunteer at Oldham Athletic progressing to become a coach and education officer with Oldham Athletic Community Trust
Arooj Shah, Leader of Oldham Council, has also paid tribute
“Im deeply saddened and shocked to hear about the passing of Dale Harris. His passion and dedication for Chadderton and Oldham shone through in everything he did.
“His energy and vision made a lasting impact on the local football and sports community, he will be greatly missed.
“My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.”
