Police in Bolton are investigating after three men entered the pub on Vernon Street,one of them armed with a suspected firearm yesterday evening
No shots were fired and no arrests have been made at this time, but the investigation is progressing at pace and Greater Manchester Police Criminal Investigation Department is pursuing multiple lines of enquiry.
The incident is not believed to be connected to wider disturbances on Parkfield Avenue and Lavender Road in Farnworth last night but investigators are keeping an open mind.
