Three men have been arrested in Royton in the early hours of this morning after a proactive search resulted in the discovery of tools and equipment used in thefts.
Police stopped a vehicle on Rochdale Road and within the vehicle was numerous tools and items – including balaclavas, winches, jamming equipment, and false plates.
The three occupants of the vehicle – men aged 37, 41, and 42 – were arrested on suspicion of going equipped. They remain in custody for questioning.
