This December, The Met is delighted to present Aladdin, produced in house with panto professionals The Big Tiny Production Company, the team who last year brought you Dick Whittington.

Last year’s panto was an outstanding success and this year The Met is thrilled to present, Aladdin, one of the most popular pantomimes ever and the perfect Christmas treat for all the family.

Aladdin will take you on a magical journey to a mystical world of magic lamps, adventure and, of course, an amazing flying carpet. Join our hero in his quest to win the hand of Princess Jasmine and thwart the villainous Abanazar’s evil plans to seize control of the all-powerful magic lamp and conquer the kingdom

Audiences should expect all the elements for a high-flying theatrical experience – laugh out loud comedy, spectacular costumes, enchanting music and exuberant dance numbers, all in the heart of Bury.

David Agnew, Artistic Director of The Met said:

“This is The Met’s second homegrown pantomime and once again we’ll be teaming up with The Big Tiny to bring you this fabulous family- friendly pantomime. Last year’s production was an amazing success and tickets for Aladdin are already flying out of the door (no pun intended!). We can’t wait to welcome audiences back to The Met for what promises to be a wonderful Christmas treat for all the family.”
