Uneven pitches, getting the team together and overcoming the British weather, it can only be Sunday league sport!
Now The Piccadilly Tavern on London Road in Manchester is getting behind a nationwide campaign to give away new match kit to local Sunday league sports sides.
The grassroots campaign, organised by Green Card – a free money-saving app for sports fans saving them 20% off food and drink at local pubs during major televised matches, aims to gain the support of local Sunday sports teams supporters who can nominate their club, whilst saving sports fans money all season long.
Whatever the sport, whether its football, rugby, cricket, running, hockey, darts or any other accredited Sunday-playing local sporting team can be nominated by their supporters to win new
team kit, plus an end of season celebration at their local pub.
To get involved sports fans in Manchester need to download the free Green Card app via the iStore or Google Play and select the link to the Facebook page where they will be able to nominate their local team, anytime up until the final whistle on 31st January 2016.

To enter the ‘Local Pubs for Local Clubs’ competition, download the app and visit the Facebook Page and enter via the Pinned Post link at the top of the page. Closing date for entries is January 31st 2016.
The Green Card can be used in over 250 Sizzling Pubs, O’Neill’s and Crown Carveries and Oak Tree Pubs around the UK and, with unique GPS location tracking, sports fans will be sure to find a local
near them.
