Between 1st June – 4th June 2022, GRUB will host an array of alternative events to celebrate the Jubilee Bank Holiday.
This includes a two-day Red Bank Cider Fête in partnership with Hogan’s Cider,
a British-themed edition of our free Family Fridays and a special edition of our sell-out Disco Bingo event, in the theme Britpop.
Jason Bailey, Owner/Director, said, “We are excited to present our alternative Jubilee events, on a week which gives us the perfect excuse to celebrate quintessentially British food, drinks and music.”
Our collaboration Cider Fête event with Hogan’s Cider will celebrate all things cider across two full days.
The cider and perry lineup has been curated by the amazing Hogan’s Cider, so look forward to a range of over 45 fine ciders and perries from the best producers in the UK, including Dunham Press Cider, Ross OnWye Cider & Perry Co, Greggs Pit Cider & Perry, Temperance Street Cider, Turners Cider, Red Bank Cider, Pilton Cider and Oliver’s Cider & Perry.
Access to the full range of ciders and perries including all the bars and guest taps and branded glass to take home.
There will also be a ‘pimp your cider’ station, cider cocktail specials, flight boards and some of the best craft beer on tap, to create a snakebite bar.
There will also be a pop-up bottle shop from The Cat In The Glass and tasting sessions from specially selected cider producers.
Family Fridays on 3rd June combine crafting, kids film screenings, outdoor play activities, seed planting and our indoor kids playroom (GRUBlets).
There will also be grub and booze for the parents to enjoy!
DISCO BINGO is one of GRUB’s most popular events – our own take on musical bingo where we combine all your favourite bangers with classic bingo hall vibes. – Britpop Bingo is a Jubilee special edition on 4th June where we celebrate the kings and queens of UK 90’s indie.
Standard tickets include entry and a house drink on arrival, whilst bottomless tickets include 90 minutes of bottled drinks.
