Couples planning their dream wedding are invited to an exclusive fayre at one of Stockport’s most stunning venues, the Bluebell Suite at The Joshua Bradley.

This special event, which takes place on Sunday 6th April, will give brides and grooms-to-be the opportunity to explore everything the venue has to offer while meeting a curated selection of top wedding suppliers.

The Bluebell Suite, nestled within the charming Victorian pub owned by North West-based family-owned brewer and pub retailer Hydes, has become a sought-after wedding destination, offering couples a stylish yet cost-effective option for their big day. With a dedicated wedding team and a stunning setting, the venue provides an unforgettable experience without the hefty price tag.

Hosting around 15 private functions per month, including approximately five weddings, the Bluebell Suite has become a firm favorite among engaged couples. In the past year alone, more than 50 weddings have taken place, highlighting the venue’s growing popularity.

The suite boasts a first-floor mezzanine level The Hayloft, overlooking the Bluebell Suite, where civil ceremonies for up to 80 guests can be held, while the main space comfortably accommodates 90 guests for a wedding breakfast and 120 for an evening reception. With a private entrance, bar, kitchen, outdoor patio, and garden, the venue ensures an exclusive and intimate atmosphere for every celebration.

Alice Frodsham, the venue’s dedicated wedding coordinator, brings over five years of expertise in crafting tailor-made wedding experiences. She works closely with each couple to ensure their vision comes to life, offering bespoke packages to suit a variety of needs and budgets.

Lottie Rossington, general manager of The Joshua Bradley and Bluebell Suite, said: “Our wedding fayre is the perfect opportunity for couples to immerse themselves in the world of wedding planning. From stunning bridal fashion and exquisite floral arrangements to expert photography and bespoke décor, there will be endless inspiration. It’s the ideal event for those just beginning their journey or finalising the finishing touches. Plus, attendees can enjoy exclusive offers and expert advice in a relaxed and welcoming setting.”

Hydes Brewery, which acquired The Joshua Bradley and Bluebell Suite in 2008, highlights the venue’s affordability by estimating that couples can save up to three times the typical cost of a UK wedding. Given that venue hire is often one of the largest expenses in wedding planning, the Bluebell Suite offers a luxurious yet cost-effective alternative, allowing couples to enjoy a high-quality wedding experience without compromising on budget.

As an added bonus, the first ten couples to arrive at the wedding fayre on April 6 will receive a complimentary wedding-themed goody bag, complete with a free bottle of Prosecco, exclusive samples, and valuable planning resources.

Adam Mayers, managing director of Hydes Brewery, said: “The Bluebell Suite offers the perfect setting for a dream wedding. The Victorian charm of The Joshua Bradley provides a stunning backdrop, ensuring every detail contributes to a truly unforgettable wedding experience. Our exceptional team, with their extensive experience, guarantees that every aspect of the day unfolds seamlessly.”
