Manchester United have released their financial results for the  first fiscal quarter.

The club have made an operating profit of £13 million compared to an operating loss of £7 million 12 months ago with total revenues down to £140 million from £143 million

Higher ticket prices have offset lack of European matches with wages 8% down due to lower bonuses and redundancies.

“These strong financial results show the resilience of Manchester United as we continue transforming the club.” said Omar Berrada adding

“The tough decisions over the past year have created a leaner, more efficient organisation, with a lower cost base, ready to drive long term improvements both on the pitch and commercially.”

Gross borrowings hit a record £748 million at 30 September 2025 as the club borrowed a further £105 million
