Spinningfields’ all day coffee house and wine bar, Provence, has just launched ‘Summer Spritz & Small Plates’, its first seasonal menu since opening in 2022.

Guests are welcome to sit at the venue’s outdoor terrace to enjoy the new selection of summertime drinks. These include Beer-Colada, a mix of pineapple Schöfferhofer with coconut tequila, the refreshing Nectar Spritz made with Vinho (Portuguese wine), nectarine liqueur, honey tequila and soda, or Melonade Spritz made with Chardonnay, melon liqueur and soda.

A selection of crostini has been added to the summer small plates menu, with toppings including serrano ham & balsamic glaze, pico de gallo (Mexican salsa) or fresh clementine, dried mint & fig chutney – priced at 3 for £12. Guests can also enjoy salads bursting with flavours and colour, including a fresh Caprese and classic Greek salad – with the option of added salami, chorizo, serrano ham or chicken.

Of course, Provence’s famed charcuterie and antipasti boards are hugely popular with guests, served with a range of toasted focaccia, plus olives, stuffed peppers and sundried tomatoes.

And, to really get into the spirit of summer, Provence currently has a frosé truck situated outside the venue, serving ice cold frozen wine.

What’s more, every Friday, guests at Provence can now grab a bottle of Prosecco for £20, to share with friends in the sunshine. If Prosecco isn’t your preferred tipple, try Pet Nat (natural sparkling wine), which offers something a little different for the same Friday offer price. Provence’s in-house wine aficionado, Niall Davey says “The funky notes and versatility of Pet Nat makes it the perfect go-between for people who don’t really drink Prosecco or Champagne.”

A new firm favourite with Provence regulars?
