Six men have been charged in relation to a kidnap that occurred in Dukinfield last week where a man was assaulted and forced into a car on Chester Avenue
The victim has since been located safe and well.
The following men have been charged and remanded with kidnap and are due to appear at Minshull Street Crown Court on 1 March 2024:
Paul Doherty aged 36 of Daventry Avenue in Bispham, Blackpool, Marshall Redfern aged 23 of Fox Street, Heywood, Joshua Oakes aged 29 of Halifax Road, Rochdale,Daniel Hague,32 of Red Bank Road, Bispham, Blackpool
Edward Dowdall aged 32 of Stronsay Place in Bispham in Blackpool was also charged and released on court bail to appear on the same day
Jack Laferty,19,of no fixed abode was charged and remanded with conspiracy to kidnap and concerned in the supply of cocaine.
He was due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today (29 January 2024)
Two females, aged 18 and 17, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to kidnap and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
