A second Bury Conservative Councillor has defected to Reform
Glyn Marsden who represents Radcliffe West has joined Jack Rydeheard on the Reform benches becoming the party’s second representative on Bury Council
Announcing his decision, he said,
“I am pleased to be joining Reform UK today — my natural political home. Over the past four years, I have been proud to serve residents as the Councillor for Radcliffe West. However, it has become clear that the party I was elected under is limited in what it can deliver, and Radcliffe deserves the change it was promised.
“I believe Reform UK is the only party offering real hope for Radcliffe, with policies that best reflect my values and serve both the town and the country.
“I look forward to working alongside my fellow Reform councillor to deliver the change Radcliffe needs.”
