The Russian Wagner Leader Yevgeny Prigozhin, who launched an attempted coup against Putin in June, has been killed in a plane crash
The private jet was shot down by Russian air defences in the Tver region north west of Moscow according to reports
There were nine others on board the plane,three of them crew members
Dmytriy Utkin, founder of Wagner and “right hand” of Prigozhin, was also on board the plane that crashed” according to reports
Two explosions in the air were reported before the crash
