Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana has announced it will fire up the pizza oven and open the doors of its brand-new Prestwich restaurant on 30th November 2024, with bookings now open via the Rudy’s website.
To celebrate its arrival just in time for the festive season, the brand is hosting an exciting giveaway for the Prestwich community – offering one lucky local winner the chance to win a sought-after Rudy’s ‘La Famiglia’ card.
The card, of which there are less than 30 in existence, is the ultimate Christmas gift granting its owner two free pizzas each week for a full year, and residents can be in with a chance of winning simply by signing up to the Rudy’s newsletter here by the time the pizzeria opens on 30th November*.
Marking the brand’s 29th restaurant in the country and its 8th in Greater Manchester, the neighbourhood pizzeria will unveil the transformation of the former Barclays Bank building on Prestwich high-street which has been left unoccupied since August 2022.
From 12pm on 30th November, customers will be able to enjoy Rudy’s iconic pizzas in the lively suburb. With its spacious 3,000 sq ft layout and 150 covers, including an intimate 30-seat covered courtyard, the new Rudy’s location will combine cosy charm with its signature inviting, laid-back vibe where pizza lovers can unwind and enjoy the neighbourhood’s latest culinary addition.
Since launching in 2015 in Ancoats, Rudy’s quickly gained a cult following for its authentic Neapolitan dough and high-quality ingredients. Rooted in a passion for pizza, Rudy’s stays true to the Neapolitan tradition, serving classic recipes like Marinara, Margherita, and Calabrese—all from Naples, the birthplace of pizza. Alongside these year-round favourites, Rudy’s Pizzaioli craft two rotating specials every six weeks, inspired by famous pizzerias in Naples.
At the heart of Rudy’s pizza-making is the ‘holy trinity’ of ingredients sourced directly from Naples: Caputo ‘00’ flour for a light, airy crust, San Marzano tomatoes from the plains of Mount Vesuvius, and creamy Fior di Latte mozzarella—together creating the true taste of Neapolitan pizza.
Further honouring its Neapolitan roots, the new Prestwich location will feature a well-stocked bar serving iconic Italian spritzes, crisp Italian Poretti lager, and classic stirred cocktails.

Located at 460 Bury New Rd, Prestwich, Manchester M25 1AX, Rudy’s Prestwich will open its doors on Saturday 30th November at 12pm. It will be open seven days a week, Monday to Saturday from 12pm-10pm and Sunday from 12pm-9:30pm and bookings are now open here.
