Former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has been sacked as manager of Birmingham City after just 15 games in charge
Between Rooney’s first game (October 21st) and final game (January 1st) in charge, Birmingham City won the fewest points (10), lost the most games (9) and conceded the most goals (30) of any Championship side.
“Unfortunately, Wayne’s time with us did not go as planned and we have decided to move in a different direction”, club statement confirms.
