Rochdale MP Tony Lloyd is reported to be on the road to recovery after contracting Coronavirus.
The Labour member has been moved out of intensive care after 17 days in hospital with severe COVID-19.
Rochdale Councillor Faisal Rana sent out a good news tweet on Lloyd’s behalf.
Thank you all for the many messages of support,” Lloyd said. “I have now been moved out of ICU. It certainly is a tough condition and it has no doubt left me literally gasping for air. But I am happy to say that I am, and continue to be, on the mend.”
