Residents at HC-One’s Rose Court Care Home, in Radcliffe, Manchester, have recently enjoyed a pampering session from trainee beauticians from Bury College.
The event brought smiles, vibrant nail colours, and meaningful connections to the care home, which showcased the power of intergenerational collaboration. As part of an ongoing partnership, five Level 2 beauty therapy students visited Rose Court to provide hand massages and manicures.
The residents eagerly participated by selecting their favourite nail polish shades. The students, eager to improve their skills, gained invaluable real-world experience working with the residents.
The hands-on practice boosted their confidence and created genuine connections with the residents. The students enjoyed lots of interactions with the residents, with some of them telling them about their lives and memories of living in the area.
