Three men aged 29, 38 and 62 were arrested on possession with intent to supply Class A drugs after police spotted a drug deal in Edgeley Stockport.
Undercover patrols spotted a drug deal take place on Carlile Street at around 2pm.
They followed the vehicle and its occupants, guiding further patrols to them to bring the vehicle to a safe stop and after driving down a dead end it is boxed in by patrols with three people inside.
The front seat passenger attempted to make off but after a foot chase was detained and found in possession of a large amount of what is suspected to be crack cocaine and heroin.
Following this house searches were conducted and in one property opened a locked cabinet and found a large amount of cash, around £3,000, as well as a suspected black handgun wrapped in what seemed to be a tablecloth. Further enquiries suggested it was air pistol that could have been converted.
