Police have this morning shut down a property in Little Hulton believed to be connected to firearms offences.
The property on Aspinall Crescent has been linked to serious organised crime, anti-social behaviour, and firearms, and this closure order is the latest activity carried out by officers in the Salford Challenger Team, the dedicated team tackling organised crime in Salford.
In May 2024 a man was shot in the chest on Aspinall Crescent. He was fortunate to survive his injuries, and an investigation has since secured convictions for three men in connection with this incident.
They are due for sentencing in January 2025. The address is also believed to be linked to the recovery of a loaded handgun in December 2024, which has resulted in a woman and two men being charged with firearms offences. Not only was this property linked to serious firearms offences, but children were also originally living at this address.
