Police are growing increasingly concerned about a missing 80-year-old man from East Didsbury.
James Winterbottom, 80 years old, was last seen at around 8.45pm on Tuesday 16 January 2018 leaving his home on Moor Park Road.
He is described as a white man, around 5ft 7inches tall with grey hair.
It is believed that James is wearing a green rain jacket over a blue v-neck jumper and blue trousers, with black shoes.
Detective Inspector Gareth Davies of GMP’s City of Manchester team, said: “James has been missing all night and his family are understandably desperate to find him.
“Instead of being in the safety and warmth of his home, James may have spent last night outside, facing the wintery conditions alone.
“Imagine if it was your dad or granddad who was missing, please keep your eye out for James and share anything that could help us find him, as soon as you can.”
