Greater Manchester Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a number of individuals whow ere involved in the disorder in Newton Heath on Wednesday evening outside the Holiday Inn on Oldham Road

During the disorder, objects were thrown towards officers in attendance, although thankfully no injuries were reported.

Two members of the public received injuries, including a bus driver who had been forced to stop by the crowd, and another man who was hit by a projectile. Thankfully, neither sustained serious injuries.

Officers have now released images of people they would like to talk to, as it is believed they could help investigators with their enquiries.
