Police investigating a collision in Radcliffe over the weekend have charged a man with robbery and assault, as they appeal for information about a bike suspected of being stolen in the incident.

The boy – aged 15 – is believed to have been riding an e-scooter, alongside an 18-year-old man on an electric bike, when they were both involved in a collision with a car on Stand Lane Radcliffe on Sunday afternoon.

The 15-year-old boy to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

The 18-year-old received treatment for minor injuries, and investigators are appealing for information about the whereabouts of the electric bike he was riding as it’s believed to have been taken from the scene.

So far two arrests have been made – both men aged 18 – with Niara Razawa (18), of Plymouth Drive, Bramhall, since being charged with robbery, section 18 assault, section 47 assault, and dangerous driving.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court today .

The second 18-year-old suspect remains in custody for questioning.
