A 45-year-old male pedestrian has been killed after being hit by a car in Colyhurst yesterday evening
The incident happened on Rochdale Road in Collyhurst around 9.48pm
The driver of the vehicle, a 46-year-old woman, failed a roadside drugs test and was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. She remains in police custody.
Officers are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward and assist with the investigation.
