This April, Pasta Evangelists is excited to announce the ultimate feasting dish, the Sunday Roast Spaghetti.
To celebrate its British-Italian heritage, the dish fuses the best of British and Italian, in one. The dish is available to pre-order from Friday 1st April, for delivery between Monday 4th April – Sunday 10th April.
Created by Pasta Evangelists team of expert chefs the Sunday Roast Spaghetti, features their signature freshly made spaghetti, a whole roast poussin, a Yorkshire pudding base, roast potatoes, greens, baby carrots, all doused in a hearty dose of gravy which no roast would be complete without. Serving two to three people, this is a British-Italian fusion unlike any other.
Setting out to find the nation’s favourite British dish, Pasta Evangelists – a small collective of flavour devout, pasta romantics, on a mission to share the joys of fresh, hand-crafted pasta, and bring a taste of Italy to the UK – asked their database of foodies to vote for the meal they think should be crowned the ultimate British classic.
Polling over 3,000 Brits, the Sunday Roast came out on top, receiving 50% of the votes. Fish & Chips followed in second with 23%, and the Full English Breakfast in third with 11% of the vote. Other dishes to choose from were Bangers & Mash, Cornish Pasty, Jellied Eels, Shepherd’s Pie, and Toad in the Hole. Of the votes, only one person voted for Jellied Eels.
The Sunday Roast Spaghetti is available to pre-order here from Friday 1st April, for delivery between Monday 4th April – Sunday 10th April, until stocks last. It is priced at £15.25 and serves two to three people.
