Police have arrested one person and seized multiple weapons after discovering a cannabis farm in Little Hulton
Raids over the weekend at Wallbrook Crescent and Chedworth Crescent saw police find numerous cannabis plants, growing equipment, and other suspected illegal paraphernalia
Several knives and a hand-axe were additionally recovered during the warrant.
A man, aged 31, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis, abstracting electricity, and possession of an offensive weapons He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Sergeant Helen Matthews, from GMP’s Little Hulton Neighbourhood Team, said: “By executing warrants, we can do two things: seize illegal and dangerous goods, and remind criminals that we are there. We will always act on intelligence we receive and by working with specialist teams, can determine the best way to go about our work.
