A popular Northern Quarter restaurant is to close its doors this Sunday after admitting it has been under massive financial strain which it has been unable to pull itself out of
Cocktail Beer Ramen + Bun (CBRB) first opened on Oldham Street back in 2018 but in a heartfelt statement posted on facebook said that this Sunday will be its last noodle pull,the last blue drink and the last dinner service
The restaurant cited the obstacles that had been affecting everyone in the hospitality industry with cost of goods rocketing and energy bills more than doubling
They urged the public to continue to support small independent businesses
“If we can leave anything behind it’s this. Go and support your local independent bar!” the statement continued. “Eat out at your favourite family owned restaurants. Order that take away from your local small business. Because we can guarantee they’ll need it. So many amazing ideas and talented businesses in our industry are struggling and closing almost every day now and they need your help.”
