Nine people have been killed following the car ramming attack against a Filipino street festival in Vancouver, Canada.
Vancouver Police arrested the driver, a male aged 30, and have said they do not believe it was “an act of terrorism.”
Police said a man drove into a large group of people at the Lapu Lapu Day Block Party – named after a national hero of the Philippines – near 43rd Avenue and Fraser Street at around 8.14pm local time on Saturday.
The force said the suspect, who is from Vancouver was “known” to them.
