Freight Island has announced a spectacular New Year’s Eve programming to ring in 2025.
The Twilight Trail at Mayfield Park is set to host its grand finale session with a Fireworks Extravaganza. As part of Winter Island this festive season, The Twilight Trail has spectacularly transformed the 6.5-acre park into a twinkling city-centre escape after dusk. The grand finale session is hosted on Tuesday 31st December at 8pm, with a dazzling 10-minute fireworks display in the evening.
Completing the New Year’s Eve programming, on the evening of Tuesday 31st December 2024, The Little Disco from the makers of La Discothéque is set to take over the platform from 8pm for the ultimate NYE disco party.
Headlining The Little Disco is the renowned electronic act Girls of the Internet, with support from Manchester’s finest talents including Mix-Stress and Nicola Bear, all set to deliver the best of disco and party anthems.
The Little Disco NYE party at Freight Island starts at 8pm with last entry at 9pm on Tuesday 31st December 2024. The Little Disco event is strictly 18+. Guests under 18 are permitted at Freight Island on the day, from midday until 8pm, where the venue will open as normal for food, drinks, and day-time entertainment.
Tickets to The Twilight Trail (Fireworks Extravaganza session) is priced at £12 for adults and £10 children, which also include guaranteed entry to Freight Island’s The Little Disco NYE party (for 18+ only). Tickets are available at https://go.kaboodle.co.uk/TT-Fireworks.
