Maturo Restaurant Group has announced a takeover of the former George’s site located in Worsley with their new Mediterranean concept, NYX.
The venue, which has been completely refurbished, will feature an elegant but inviting decor with a ‘simple but special’ menu paying homage to the Mediterranean with its design. The menu has been expertly curated to feature a selection of seafood, beautifully grilled meats, colourful mezze plates and vibrant seasonal salads, all to be served sharing style.
The restaurant will also have a breakfast menu offering light and healthy options alongside more indulgent Mediterranean classics and a special Sunday sharing menu.
NYX is set to bring the warmth, flavours and effortless charm of the Mediterranean to Worsley offering a space for locals to unwind, share great food, and indulge in trusted hospitality with an outdoor seating area and private terrace.
A new live entertainment schedule will also launch with the aim of creating ‘experiences’ for guests. A selection of themed nights will also be announced in due course taking guests on a real life tour of the Mediterranean.
NYX is the latest chapter in the story of operators Maturo Restaurants, a group with seven years of success who recently launched Sip Monton, a high-end cocktail bar aiming to transform the Monton bar scene with incredible-quality cocktails and charcuterie boards. This launched alongside Maturo MeatCo, a high quality butchers serving a selection of high-quality meat and also acting as a supplier to the Maturo Restaurant Group.

Maturo Restaurant Group operate award-winning Noir Steakhouse, Maturo Urmston, Maturo Prescot, Efes by Maturo, Sip Monton and new artisanal butchers, Maturo MeatCo, also located in Worsley. The butchers specialise in premium dry-aged collections, Wagyu steak and gourmet burgers and has become a firm favourite in Worsley since launching.
NYX is set to launch on 17th March.
