On Friday 2 September, Alibi, Altrincham’s newest cocktail and karaoke bar will open its doors from 6pm to the town’s music lovers.

With a delicious original cocktail menu and a banging soundtrack including forgotten tunes from the nineties and noughties, a night in Alibi is guaranteed to be one that guests won’t forget.

For those looking for the perfect way to let their hair down, hidden downstairs in Alibi is the best karaoke den this side of Tokyo which will be available for private bookings for groups of up to 16 people.

Alibi, located on Shaw’s Road, will be open from Thursday to Sunday every week as well as weekdays for big events, including the upcoming World Cup. The bar also makes the perfect spot for bookings, including for private hire, so whether guests are celebrating an 8th or 80th birthday, an anniversary, a Christmas celebration or even a hen party, the karaoke booth and cocktail bar can both be booked to provide the perfect spot to party.

In addition to providing all the essentials for a good night of partying, Alibi is also providing job opportunities for local Altrincham residents and is on the lookout for the best talent to join its team. For those who want to learn new skills, meet new people, and have a lot of fun whilst they work, Alibi has the perfect job opportunity.

Alibi is owned by business partners Carl Peters and Richard Littman, who between them have nearly 40 years’ experience running and owning hospitality venues, including Altrincham hotspot Common Ground, Translate in Shoreditch and other popular London places including Steam & Rye, The Coronet and The Mermaid Theatre.

For those looking to book a private celebration at the home of great nights, swish cocktails and the best soundtrack (although Alibi can’t promise the best vocals – that part is down to its guests), bookings are being taken online at www.alibialtrincham.com.

Carl Peters says: “We are so excited to be launching Alibi in Altrincham. It’s been a long time coming and we know it’s going to be a venue that is loved by locals of all ages. We’ve created the ideal space to unwind with friends and have some truly carefree fun after a long week.”

Richard Littman adds: “We know the Altrincham nightlife scene well and we are confident that Alibi is going to be a popular spot with those who love to party. We’re getting everything ready for the launch in September when the karaoke machine will be geared up and the cocktails will be flowing…we can’t wait!”
