A motorcyclist in his 20’s has been killed in a crash on Old Chorley Road in Bolton police have confirmed
The accident hapoened around 9.40 yesterday evening
Police believe that a collision occurred as a Skoda Fabia travelling east along Chorley Old Road in Horwich, has crossed directly into the path of an oncoming motorbike which has caused the collision.
The driver of the Skoda Fabia – a man in his 20s – was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam, mobile phone or doorbell footage, from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
