Kendal Calling wouldn’t be complete without Tim Burgess’ own Tim Peaks Diner, known and loved legendary sets as well as the very best coffee around. Today, Tim Peaks reveals its line up and it’s bigger and better than ever. Of course, there will be secret sets but as festival goers well know, they are… until the time comes… top secret. This summer, A Certain Ratio will not only be playing live at the Diner, but their set will also be mixed, mastered and pressed into vinyl so quickly that it will be available to buy at Tim Peaks on the Sunday of Kendal Calling, and what’s more, the band will be there to sign them. A Certain Ratio said, “We’ve always wanted to play Kendal Calling, especially Tim Peaks Diner, so we are very excited!”

Having received his Fellowship at The Royal Northern College of Music in November, Tim Burgess will be collaborating with the Session Orchestra for a one off performance alongside Dexys Midnight Runners legend Helen O’Hara. Elsewhere across the weekend at everyone’s favourite Diner, Dave Haslam will be hosting two book events as well as one of his legendary DJ sets on the Friday night which is not to be missed.

Two Headed Horse, who have been involved in the Help Us Help Us Bands project will be performing at Tim Peaks, as well as Leeds rockers Ultimate Thunder whose story with Tim Burgess was covered by the press globally. Chris Hawkins will be bringing Names In Songs to life for the first time at a festival as part of his Tim Peaks FM show on Saturday. And there is much, much more still to come.

Tim Burgess said, “I say it every year but I genuinely think this might be our best line up ever – to have A Certain Ratio playing live and to be making their set into an album is dream come true stuff for me.”
