Manchester United Football Club will kick off their U.S. pre-season tour in truly spectacular fashion, lighting up Niagara Falls in Old Trafford red to celebrate the team’s visit to the US this summer.

At 22:00 on Wednesday 23rd July, the iconic waterfalls of Niagara Falls USA will be lit up – accompanied by fireworks – and will be attended by fans from across the region and club legend Wes Brown.

Niagara Falls is the first of many supporter activations taking place across the pre-season tour, with further events and collaborations to follow in New Jersey, Chicago and Atlanta.

The activation comes courtesy of a partnership with the Niagara Parks Commission and the local Manchester United supporters’ club.

‘It will be a unique occasion where two forces of nature combine to create a spectacular event! Says Rick MgGagh, director of fan engagement at Manchester United.  The display marks the first of many fan-focused celebrations on the tour and promises to be a memorable event for supporters in North America.
