The Manchester PA awards has returned to raise money and recognise the incredible individuals working in the business industry. Organised by the Manchester Network, a not-for profit organisation, and event partner, the Taylor Lynn Corporation, the black-tie event celebrates its sixth year running. Taking place at Old Trafford, the awards aim to recognise the talent and hard work of Personal Assistants, Executive Assistants and Virtual Assistants within the city.
Fundraising for The Christie Charity
The event is run in support of ongoing fundraising efforts of the Manchester PA Network for the Christie Charity. Profits raised from the event will contribute to the £200,000 already raised by the Manchester PA Network.
The Christie Charity provides enhanced services through the NHS, offering care and treatment to patients and their families. With over 550 guests in attendance, this year’s event successfully raised £7,600 for the charity. Liz Taylor CEO of the Taylor Lynn Corporation (TLC) and co- event partner believes “the awards have really paid tribute to the incredible achievements of the region’s professional PAs, whilst helping to raise an incredible amount for the Christie Charity.”
The Awards
The list of awards includes the Health and Wellbeing Award and the Brand Ambassador Award, with the introduction of a new award, the National PA Award. For the first time, the award aims to recognise the excellent professionalism and dedication of a personal assistant outside of the city. Excited to see the return of the event after a three-year break, Amanda Hargreaves, co-founder of the Manchester PA Network said, “We were absolutely thrilled to be able to bring the Manchester Awards back this year. To bring our fabulous community together once again and see how much it means to our winners is wonderful.”
