After a decade, Manchester Fashion Week will return from 9-11 September 2025, setting out a bold blueprint for the future of fashion. Rooted in Manchester’s textile heritage and driven by innovation, the three-day event brings together leading designers, cultural voices and pioneering thinkers to address fashion’s biggest challenges.
While the main schedule is industry-led, this inaugural edition also throws open its doors to the public, offering rare access to some of fashion’s most influential voices and moments. For the first time, Mancunians and visitors alike will be able to sit front row at discussions that usually happen behind closed doors, join live debates with global changemakers, and take part in interactive showcases.
From intimate book launches and exclusive panels with pioneers of new fashion systems; to live music, styling workshops and upcycling demonstrations, Manchester Fashion Week is giving the public an unprecedented opportunity to experience the beating heart of the fashion industry up close. These events go beyond the runway, sparking conversations about the future of fashion while celebrating creativity, culture and community.
Gemma Gratton, Executive Producer of Manchester Fashion Week, says, “Manchester has always been a city that leads. Manchester Fashion Week is about giving everyone direct access to the ideas and voices shaping fashion’s future, from new ways of thinking, technology to culture and community. For the public, it’s a chance to not only watch, but to take part in that dialogue, to be in the room where the change is happening.”
