Manchester City Council has launched its Cultural Partnership grants programme, offering funding of up to £40,000 per year for cultural organisations in Manchester.
Applications for the next round of the Cultural Partnership grants programme, provided by Manchester City Council, are now open. The deadline to apply is 9am on Friday 7 October 2022.
The fund will provide just under £1million over three years starting in April 2023. In the last round, Manchester City Council supported 15 of the city’s dynamic small and medium sized arts and cultural charitable organisations.
The city council is inviting applications from charitable and not-for-profit organisations which have a track record of delivering arts and cultural activity that benefits the people who live in or visit the city.
Grants of up to £40,000 per year are available through the scheme to support organisations which contribute to Manchester’s cultural offer – and that create high-quality cultural and creative experiences that all our residents can benefit from. The council want to fund organisations that are inclusive, representative of resident communities and which contribute to Manchester’s zero-carbon ambitions.
The fund is designed for cultural and arts-based organisations which work with artforms such as: Combined Arts, Dance, Museum, Film and Broadcast, Heritage, Literature, Visual Arts, Digital Art, Music, Photography, Theatre and Performance, and Craft. The value of culture to the city is also in no doubt and the fund goes someway to recognise and support the work of our dynamic cultural sector. The Cultural Partnership grants programme has previously supported a wide range of cultural partners across the city that have delivered some inspiring activities, events and festivals with and for our residents.”
