Three men have been arrested on suspicion of affray offences after a fight in Shaw that resulted in a man having a serious slash injury
Police were called to the altercation on Market Street around 8.25pm
The man wad taken to hospital his injures are not believed to be life-threatening or changing.
Detective Inspector Roberto Dicorato, from GMP’s Oldham district, said: “We are still investigating the full circumstances of last night’s incident and have already made a number of arrests. As this work continues, we are appealing for anyone with information to please come forward.
“Your information could greatly assist with our ongoing work – and you can choose to come to us directly or anonymously.”
